Kamil Madej, 42, has been appointed general manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Prague. Since 1997 he has been working for the Corinthia Hotels International. Prior to joining to the Mövenpick Hotel Prague he held the function of general manager in the Corinthia Panorama Hotel. Before, he was acting as a rooms division manager, executive assistant manager and resident manager in the same hotel. In the years 2000 -01 he was holding the position of acting general manager in the Corinthia Aquincum Budapest. His career in the hotel industry began in 1994 at the hotel Hilton Prague, where he worked as a rooms division manager.

Madej is married with two children. Snowboarding, kick-box and motorbiking are just some of his hobbies.
