 In der Woche vom 14.-18. September 2009 fand in Brno schon der 51. Jahrgang der Internationalen Maschinenbaumesse und die 5. internationale Messe für Transport und Logistik statt. Beide Messen fanden in einer Zeit statt, die den beiden vertretenen Branchen – Maschinenbau und Transport – beträchtliche Probleme bringt. Die Wirtschaftskrise hat dadurch also auch die Branche Messen und Ausstellungen beeinflusst, was sich an der niedrigeren Zahl von Ausstellern und der weniger verkauften Fläche gezeigt hat. Trotzdem waren die Organisatoren und auch die Aussteller angenehm überrascht – die Zahl der Besucher war nur um 10 % niedriger als im Jahre 2008 und die Qualität war sehr hoch. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der Besucher waren Fachleute und ihre Interessen konzentrierten sich auf neue innovative Produkte. Direkt auf der Messe wurden oft auch die Bestellungen von Maschinen und Einrichtungen erledigt. Trotz des Rückgangs der Zahl von Ausstellern um ca. 30 % gegenüber der vorjährigen Jubiläumsmesse haben 250 neue Aussteller an der diesjähriger Messe teilgenommen.

The Swiss information stand
The Swiss Chamber of Commerce - Czech Republic (HST) and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce - Central Europe (SEC Zurich) are once again organising the Swiss information stand, with a number of participating companies, at the 51st International Engineering Fair in Brno. This stand forms an information platform for exhibitors and visitors to the fair who are interested in Swiss industry in general, and in engineering and the electrical and metal industries in particular. At the same time it is also a meeting place for representatives of Swiss companies, retailers, engineers and other interested parties. |
